Strengthening Global Halal Cooperation: MoU Signed Between Halal Food Safety UK and CICOT
In July 2025, Halal Food Safety UK, led by our CEO Mr. M. Noh, was honoured to be officially invited by the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand (CICOT) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between our two organisations.
This landmark agreement represents a significant step towards strengthening mutual recognition between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Thailand in the field of Halal certification. By joining hands, we aim to:
Promote Halal food products across both nations.
Support Halal food manufacturers in accessing new markets.
Enhance collaboration between certification bodies for greater transparency and trust.
The signing of this MoU not only highlights the growing importance of international partnerships in Halal certification, but also reflects our commitment to ensuring the integrity, safety, and recognition of Halal food worldwide.
Halal Food Safety UK looks forward to working closely with CICOT to strengthen global Halal standards and open new opportunities for Halal-certified businesses.
