In November 2022, Halal Food Safety UK was honoured to participate in the World Halal Forum, held in Manila, Philippines, during the 41st Founding Anniversary of the Islamic Da’wa Council of the Philippines (IDCP) and the 18th Annual General Meeting of the World Halal Council (WHC). Representing our organisation, CEO Mr. M. Noh delivered a presentation on “The Challenges of Food Halal Production” to an international audience of over 450 delegates, receiving a Plaque of Appreciation in recognition of his expertise and contribution.

Halal Food Safety UK, led by CEO Mr. M. Noh, was honoured to be officially invited by the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand (CICOT) to sign a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in July 2025. This partnership marks a significant step in strengthening mutual recognition, promoting Halal food products, and supporting manufacturers across the United Kingdom and Thailand.

The Halal food industry is one of Thailand’s most revenue-generating sectors. In 2016, Thailand was ranked among the world’s top 10 halal product exporters.

The World Halal Council is the federation of Halal Certifying Bodies which have gained global acceptance in their Halal certification and accreditation processes.

The largest FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) company in the world, Nestle, has 80 of its plants certified Halal, while a quarter of its 100 factories, at any one time, are under supervision for Halal compliance.

The purpose of the project is to inspire and empower stakeholders across Indonesia to evaluate and develop a high impact, comprehensive and actionable market strategy that addresses the global Halal Economy opportunity.

GIMDES (Food & Drug Control and Certification Research Association) is a non-governmental organization established to conduct research and certification of halal and healthy products, covering food, cosmetics and health products.

The Halal Professional Board provides the Halal Executive Course (Citrine) and Halal Internal Auditor Course (Pearl). These are competency based courses that require written assessment to evaluate participants.
